Poverty to Riches

Flame FM's vision is to look at the issue of poverty in Bradford and help the city and its residents discover the richness in the city and themselves.  We believe communities far and wide will also benefit from our internet broadcasts.

We envisage that poverty encompasses physical aspects which outwork themselves around problems of poor health, substance misuse, financial difficulties etc...  However we believe that poverty goes beyond this and that there is a poverty mindset that results in people not grasping the richness of the city as a result of failing to recognise the richness of the people, culture and communities that live in it.

• Sharing the Gospel to all areas of Bradford to release people into the richness of a Christ centred life.

• Producing cutting edge radio programmes to give relevant information to people regarding issues around the aspects of physical poverty.

• Voicing the richness of Bradford by communicating the value of the different cultures and communities in the city.
